Glossary
Terms used across Beefpad.
- Beef: a 60-second round between two coins, scored by buys over sells.
- Score: SOL bought divided by SOL sold during the round, or the share of buys when a side has no sells.
- Open challenge: a beef with no named rival. Any coin’s creator can answer it.
- Counting: the few seconds after a round while the trades are tallied, the keeper posts the result on chain and the program pays out.
- Pot: both creators’ stakes, 0.2 SOL. 80% to the winner’s creator, 20% buys and burns $BEEF.
- Beefpad balance: your SOL in the Beefpad program. Trades and stakes come from it; only your wallet can withdraw it.
- One-click: a key in your browser allowed to trade and stake from your balance for 24 hours, up to 5 SOL a trade and 10 SOL in all. It can’t withdraw.
- Graduation: when about 85 SOL is in the curve and trading moves to PumpSwap.
- Creator fee: pump.fun’s fee for the coin’s creator, 0.30% per trade on the curve and tiered in the pool, split 70% creator, 15% platform, 15% $BEEF burn.
- Keeper: Beefpad’s bot that posts beef results, returns expired stakes, pays out creator fees and burns $BEEF, about once a minute.
